Autumn/Winter 2018 collection took inspiration from the permanent ceramics exhibition at the V&A, as well as leaning into a strong floral arrangement.
Kåge, Wilhelm. 1953
Stoneware with incised and partly glazed decoration.
ca. 1942 (designed)
We kicked off our A/W18 inspiration hunt at the V&A, in their renowned ceramics collection; a whole floor, room after room of complete heaven. Gorgeous colours made from subtle glazes, pieces dating from 2500 BC.
What could be better?!
And Chloe had been looking at Crystal structures, playing and layering lines on lines. We added a few 70’s inspired flowers along the way for good measure.
Beardmore, Freda. 1934.
A/W18 took shape, with bold fuchsia’s, deep indigo’s, wearable greys & pinks and we’re really happy with the end results. Prints to be treasured on soft wools and silks that soak up colour like nothing else.
Williams-Ellis, Susan. 1963.
Hansen, Hans Henrik. 1938.
