Freddy Mamani Silvestre
We were very happy to have stumbled across the photographer David Cardelus whilst researching our SS22 collection. Cardelus, specialises in architectural photography, his images are both beautiful artworks and records of architectural projects.
Born and raised in Barcelona Spain, he came from a fine arts background, and to date has worked with the likes of Conde Naste, MAP architects, Pei Cobb Freed & partners and many more.
Cardelus’s images are a far cry from simply documenting the building in front of him; he adds his unique eye, composing beautifully, balanced images. I admire the way he manipulates light, creating intriguing shadows. His interesting angles and use of colour draw you into his world.
About the Print
Paying tribute to Miami’s 1930s buildings, In the Asha print we explore broken segments of buildings and place our animals amongst them, flamingos and toucans perch whilst the cheetahs and monkeys prowl.
Our Lagoon colourway is a riot of clear blues, mixed with mauves, whites and citrenes adding accents.
Style Notes
The Asha scarf is light and easy to wear elevating your everyday look.
