As part of a 4month South American trip, my partner and I made our way from Rio de Janeiro up to Cuba. For my mid-February birthday, we spent a month in the Andes; Cusco and Machu Picchu, Peru.

We had oodles of choice for Guest Houses during our high altitude exploration of the Andes, Peru.

We chose a simple place on the outskirts of town; with a stunning view to wake to each morning.

Preparations for Carnavale in a local market; that week were offerings to ‘Compadre’, Narrow mountain-winding streets
