TRAVEL

THAILAND

Our annual meet up this year was Thailand. We landed in Bangkok and headed straight out on an overnight train, to what felt like the rather sleepy town of Chaing Mai. Hard to image that it is one of the largest towns in the north and once the capital of the Ancient Lanna Kingdom. Its lovely and green, surrounded on all sides by mountainous terrain. Getting around is easy you hop on and of the local buses, just hail them down.

Chaing Mai is full of the most glorious temples, fabulous night markets some full of vintage clothing as well as traditional crafts. We rented a little house on the outskirts, it felt like you were on the edge of the jungle, but within a short walk you could find delicious street food and amazingly good coffee.
