INDIAN MANDALAS
A Mandala, is a Sanskrit word meaning circle, and more often used for a circle/geometric configuration of symbols. Used in various religions and artistic work to help focus, as a guidance tool, and aid in meditation. It holds great value in Buddhist and Hindu cultures, and is believed to represent aspects of the universe.
India, a common place of interest and love for Heti & myself is full of mandala’s from the preferred display of food and offerings, to historic and ancient artefacts.
